Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love’s daughter Frances Bean is to make her singing debut on a track also featuring My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way, Andrew WK and Weird Al Yankovic.

Becky Billings, Women’s Volleyball:
The Gaels won both games they played over the weekend, thanks, in part, to the stellar play of Billings. She recorded 14 digs against Ottawa, and followed it up with 29 digs against Brock. The wins helped move the Gaels to within two points of first place in the OUA East division. Billings, who is known as a defensive specialist, is averaging almost four digs a game. Radiohead played a one-off show in aid of Haiti’s earthquake survivors last night.
The band broke from recording sessions to play a gig at Los Angeles’ Music Box Theatre At The Fonda, to raise funds for Oxfam’s attempts to help the country that was hit by the natural disaster earlier this month.
With tickets for the show auctioned off in advance, the band played a full set to the packed crowd, which saw a Radiohead debut for ‘Lotus Flower’, Ateaseweb.com reports. Read the rest of this entry »

My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way suggests the band will tour “punk clubs” for their new album, which is almost finished.
In an interview with NME, Way tells all about the follow up to 2006 album ‘The Black Parade’. As well as talking about new songs like ‘Black Dragon Fighting Society’ and ‘Light Behind Your Eyes’, he admits that he likes the idea of playing smaller venues – partly because the band’s new songs are suited to them, and partly due of the current economic climate.
